I had a lead in this film so I booked a slot at the venue directly upstairs from the theater, BB King Blues Club and gave a free Post-Premier concert to thank those that came out- why the heck not?
Created, recorded, mixed, and arranged music for films, TV shows, websites, and voice over reels. Wrote original song for a movie and actually sang the song in the movie. After working in the film industry since 1986, Daniel took a break to be near his aging parents. Back in Louisiana, he connected with friends and agents who sought his help in evaluating local talent.
Daniel discovered that despite comparable talent levels, actors in Louisiana lacked the training of their counterparts in larger markets like Los Angeles and New York. Recognizing the potential, he started coaching and training actors in Louisiana to reach competitive levels of those in NY and CA.
The impact of Daniel Dupont Acting’s training became evident as local actors secured more significant roles, prompting requests for both acting and industry training.
Talent Agencies and casting directors began to recognize the affect that training with Daniel Dupont Acting has, and the actors themselves realized it by booking more, and better, roles.
To see a few examples of Louisiana actors that have gone on to take significant roles in projects while they live in Louisiana.
These actors were all trained by DDA right here in Louisiana.

I hope that you guys will support them, follow them on social media, and let your friends know that professional training for screen actors is possible right here in Louisiana..
“It’s really great that I can offer competitive training to actors that want it locally, where they live, go to school, and work. This training wasn’t an option many years ago when I started out, and nothing is more rewarding than to see local actors book significant roles in productions that are casting nation wide.”
